George at Asda’s homeware line has just launched their latest AW21 designs, including some seriously standout furniture that’ll switch up any room in the house. What’s more, a lot of their cool pieces are great alternatives for more expensive counterparts on the market by brands such as MADE and Oliver Bonas.
One piece that really caught our eye was the Asda monochrome pouffe, which is a dead ringer for MADE’s bestselling ‘Fes’ style. The super cool design is a great addition to any living room and, because of its monochrome hue, it fits in with any colour scheme. However, at £99 it’s a bit of an investment for a pouffe, which is where George’s affordable style comes in.

Fes 100% Wool Tufted Pouffe, £99, MADE
At £50, the Asda monochrome pouffe is half the price of MADE’s but just as stylish. Although it’s hard to tell from the pictures, the main colour seems to be more of a muted off-white hue, but is just as covetable.

This is not the only dupe we’re impressed by from the new furniture range; in fact, the following products have gone straight to the top of our wish list:
The scallop pink chair
Oliver Bonas’ pink scalloped chair is a long standing interiors fave, and for good reason. The gorgeous design features super soft velvet and gold accents — but it’ll set you back an eye-watering £395. Asda’s on the other hand only costs £75.

The metal side table
Habitat’s gorgeously simple side table isn’t super pricey at £30, but you can get one even cheaper from George, whose version will only set you back £14. This is what you call a real bargain.

The grey ottoman
Another beloved velvet buy from Oliver Bonas, but again, one that you’ll need to save up your pennies for. This grey storage ottoman is super stylish, but £395. Asda’s is an extremely frugal £18, saving you over £350.

The drinks trolley
Drinks trolleys have become increasingly popular of late, with everyone loving a ‘20s retro feel in their living room. Luckily, there are a bunch of cheaper ones, like this £28 option that’s the spitting image for Swoon’s £269 design.
