Amanda Holden is one of the best dressed women on TV, so you can’t blame us for looking to her for inspiration when we need to spruce up our wardrobes. Luckily, she never disappoints.
This week, the Britain’s Got Talent judge stepped out in a chic animal print maxi skirt by none other than high street hero Topshop, and trust us when we say you’re going to want to get your hands on it too.
The gorgeous soft yellow satin skirt is yet another reminder that the animal print trend is here to stay – a fact that we couldn’t be happier about. While Amanda opted for a casual look by pairing it with a simple white t-shirt and white trainers (letting the skirt speak for itself), it could also be worn with a cami top and a pair of heels for an evening look with finer knitwear tucked in when autumn finally arrives.
The Printed Pleated Maxi Skirt is part of the retailer’s luxury section, Topshop Boutique, and is priced at £89. However, it seems the Amanda effect has quickly hit, as the piece is already out of stock on the Topshop website.
We’ve got our fingers crossed for a restock but in the meantime, we’d advise checking your local stores.
If you’ve missed out on your size completely, fear not, because the skirt isn’t the brand’s only new offering. Topshop Boutique recently launched an AW19 edit made up 34 pieces – all of which we’d happily wear for the rest of the year (and the next).
They’ve got everything from silks, leathers and slit-hems to loose tailoring fit for any fashion girl’s wardrobe. And of course, the outerwear offerings are dreamy too. So whether you’re into block colours or completely obsessed with Scandi-style minimalism, you’re basically guaranteed to find something you love.
