We love Amanda Holden for many reasons, not least for her ever-inspiring fashion sense. From bright blouses to animal print, Amanda is anything but a wallflower when it comes to her style. So it’s no surprise that the radio DJ isn’t letting social distancing keep her from wearing her most fabulous ensembles.
And her latest lockdown outfit may be the one to end all lockdown outfits, as the Heart Radio presenter donned her wedding dress to mow the lawn. Not one to let a menial task like tending to the overgrown lawn stop her from wearing her finest, Amanda completed her look with a sparkling tiara and wellington boots – and we can’t help but applaud her enthusiasm.
.had a bit of #fun with the family by mowing the lawn in my #weddingdress Why not join & tag me or @thisisheart and wear YOUR dress doing an unusual task! #doitinthedress ♥️ #lockdown #stayhome #wecandoit💪🏼 pic.twitter.com/f0ApqkFANU

Posting a video of herself mowing the lawn in her white dress to Instagram, she captioned it with the words: ‘Nice day for a good mowing! ☀️ Hope it puts a smile on your face.’ Before adding a call to arms to get others to do the same: ‘Why not join me… post a video of an unusual thing you can do in a wedding dress, #DoItInTheDress then tag me & @thisisheart ♥️ . #CuttingIt #WeCanDoIt 💪🏼 #StayAtHome #Isolation’.
This isn’t the first time Amanda has gotten dressed up during lockdown to carry out household chores either – just last week the BGT judge put on a hot pink couture ballgown and heels to take the bins out, spawning the genius hashtag #glamforyourbinman.
Other recent lockdown activities in the Holden household in Richmond have included cartwheels in the garden, using a giant chocolate cake as weights for an arm workout and throwing a Zoom disco for her daughter and her friends.
And the fun doesn’t stop at home, apparently – Amanda and fellow radio host Ashley Roberts have also been turning the Heart Radio offices into their own personal catwalk.
Well, in times like these, we all need to find small ways to have fun and the Holden is certainly doing just that. Keep them coming, Amanda!
