Over 10,000 people were on the waiting list for Superdrug’s new beauty brand

We have plenty to thank Australia for – Chris Hemsworth, lamingtons, Neighbours and the ultimate party tune that is ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ by Kylie Minogue – but now there’s another excellent Aussie export to add to our list.

Alya Skin has just launched in Superdrug, and the brand racked up an impressive 10k waiting list in anticipation of its arrival. Even better, there’s currently a third off the cost of the range, so it’s a great time to try it out!

The brand first launched with a hero product that proved to be hugely popular: the Australian Pink Clay Mask. With a glow-worthy formulation packed with Australian botanicals and natural minerals, this mask has over 2,000 reviews and 4.8 stars on TrustPilot.

The detoxifying and brightening face mask is suitable for everyone, even the most sensitive of skin, and can be used weekly to create a smoother, softer and healthier-looking complexion. Key ingredients include aloe vera to reduce inflammation and witch hazel to speed up the healing of blemishes, and it promises noticeable results after just 10 minutes.

Many Instagram users have praised the product for clearing their breakouts and reducing redness and pigmentation. Alya Skin also routinely shares customer’s before-and-after photos demonstrating the mask’s skin-perfecting powers.

Two new products are also available as part of Alya Skin’s Superdrug launch.

The Pink Marine Collagen Sleep Mask (coming soon) has a ‘pillow-proof formula’ that promises to transform skin overnight. It is infused with marine-derived collagen, red algae, strawberry gum, mountain pepper berry and hyaluronic acid to protect and strengthen the skin’s barrier, prevent the signs of ageing and brighten up thirsty and dull skin.

Alya Skin Pore Perfecting Elixir, £16.62 (was £24.95), Superdrug

There’s also a Pore Perfecting Elixir, designed to resurface your skin by removing dead skin cells. Salicylic Acid is the hero here, working to balance and dissolve excess sebum, prevent breakouts and blackheads, and refine the pores. This, combined with a concoction of AHA, Niacinamide and Aussie botanicals helps decongest and reduce inflammation associated with acne and hormonal breakouts. It promises to reduce post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation associated with acne scarring and maintain moisture levels.

The full Alya Skin range is now available to shop from Superdrug, with prices starting from £12.50.
