Aldi’s new wicker baskets are an affordable way to organise your space

Aldi has been treating us to a whole host of homeware bargains in just the last few weeks alone.

First came the scallop-shaped double bed (an Oliver Bonas dupe for half the price), then the £7.99 smiley face pancake pans for Pancake Day, and just this week, the retailer added new Valentine’s Day scents to their Jo Malone candle dupe range.

Now, Aldi has introduced some sleek new storage solutions for those of us looking to ‘Marie Kondo’ our homes in lockdown. Their new wicker baskets are very on trend and perfect for those of us looking to emulate the interiors trend for natural textures and boho styling.

Made using seagrass and water hyacinth grass, the Aldi wicker baskets are very similar to other trend-led pieces from homeware giants such as H&M Home, La Redoute and Zara Home – but for about a third of the price.

We’ll be using ours to store blankets and towels, but the chic and affordable baskets can be used to keep anything that could be cluttering up your space, from cosmetics bottles and make-up to cleaning products and kitchen accessories.

Priced at £8.99 each or £17.98 for a pair, the Aldi wicker baskets are available in stores and online – but are quickly selling out!

Want more? Here are some more storage solutions from Aldi that are a stylish and affordable way to organise your home, from fabric and wire baskets to a clever over-the-door storage solution.
