Despite Valentine’s Day being a purely at-home affair this year, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate the day, whether you want to go big or small.
You could order in a meal kit to create a restaurant-quality romantic dinner for two at home (even if it’s over Zoom), and don’t forget a gift for your loved one – or even your galentine. But if all that sounds like the pennies are adding up, you needn’t splurge loads of money on the day, as proven by Aldi.
The supermarket has launched plenty of Valentine’s Day offers and limited edition products for the special day, such as their new range of their Jo Malone-inspired candles. And if you’re wanting to add some bubbles to the occasion, Aldi has got you covered in that department, too.
In what is one of the cheapest supermarket bubbly offerings, Aldi Prosecco starts from just £3.99 this Valentine’s Day. Their Costellore Prosecco Vino Frizzante is what you want to look out for on the shelf (the offer is not available online), with its fruity style and striking pink glitter label, the bottle has been reduced from £4.99 down to £3.99 for a limited time only.
Meanwhile, another Aldi Prosecco is also on offer – the Costelloire Prosecco Spumante DOC has been reduced down from £5.99 to £4.95, and that’s available in stores and online.
If you’re looking to push the boat out a bit more, choose the Nicolas De Montbart Champagne, ‘an easy drinking aperitif-style champagne which is the perfect way to toast to the evening’. It’s usually £10.99, but for now it’s been reduced to the even more purse-friendly price of £9.95, in stores and online.
Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, comments: ‘With Valentine’s approaching, we’re excited to be able to offer our customers the best value and quality fizz to enjoy with a loved one. We have reduced some of our best-selling sparkling, ready to enjoy or gift this Valentine’s Day.’
