With face masks becoming an increasingly ingrained part of our everyday lives, it’s no surprise that the make-up mantra for most of us has fast become ‘it’s all about the eyes’. But if your eyeshadow collection has seen better days, don’t feel you have to spend a fortune to liven things up – say hello to Aldi’s new collection of eyeshadow palettes.
Revival, Moon Dust and Desert Rain are three of the newest beauty dupes to be launched by the budget supermarket, a ‘Velvet’ collection said to be comparable to three of the bestselling palettes from Insta-famous (and celebrity favourite) beauty brand Anastasia Beverley Hills. Each one contains an impressive mix of 14 matte and metallic shades, plus a mirror and a soft dual-ended brush to make application a breeze even if you’re on the go.
Whether you like your look to be vibrant and colourful or subtle and smoky, there’s plenty of colours in the range to suit – and at £5.99, your budget might even stretch to picking up all three (especially when you consider the comparable saving on the Anastasia versions, which sell for £46).
Here’s what to expect from the new Aldi eyeshadow palettes offering – they’re launching online on 20th September and in stores on 27th September, so be sure to mark your calendar!
The 3 new Aldi Lacura Velvet Eyeshadow Palettes
Lacura Revival eyeshadow palette
Rich pink velvet casing and a warm mix of matte and metallic eyeshadows – this is a dupe for Anastasia Beverley Hills Modern Renaissance palette that we predict will fly out of Aldi stores fast.
Lacura Desert Rain eyeshadow palette
A softer and slightly more neutral take comes in the form of Desert Rain, an orange-cased dupe for Anastasia Beverley Hills’ Soft Glam Palette. This would be a great everyday pick which can be vamped up with the darker end of the spectrum for a more glamorous finish.
Lacura Moondust eyeshadow palette
Want to play with colour? Try the celestial-inspired Moondust palette, which is similar to the Norvina palette from Anastasia Beverley Hills. Whimsical washes of pink and purple hues sit alongside staples like taupes and terracottas – it’s seriously pretty stuff.
The Lacura Velvet Palettes are available online from 20th September and in store from 27th September.
