Finally, the warm weather has arrived! While we’re very happy to see the sun and push our jumpers to the back of the wardrobe, there’s one part of summer we wish wasn’t so hot – bedtime. Sleep seems impossible when the temperature isn’t right, leaving us hot, bothered and exhausted. But fear not, as Aldi has launched a clever cooling bedding range just in time for summer.
The Cooling Down collection has been designed to do what it says on the tin – keep you comfortable and cool while you sleep. The Aldi cooling bedding range includes a duvet set, double fitted sheet and pillowcases with cooling technology. Prices start from as little as £3.99 and the bedding can be bought in either a double size or king size.
So how does the cooling technology work exactly? Well, the bedding is made from a blend of cotton and Tencel, which means each item helps support the body’s natural thermal regulating mechanism. Tencel is also sustainably sourced, so that’s another bonus.
Aldi says: ‘With the weather heating up, Brits can avoid balmy bedtimes and restless nights by creating optimum sleeping conditions with Aldi this summer. Experts say that keeping cool at night is essential for a good night’s sleep and with Aldi’s new Cooling Down for Summer bedding range, Brits can do just that.’
The bedding range is available in a variety of standard colours, such as white, blue and grey. The duvet sets also come in a blue dotted print.
The Cooling Down collection is already available to buy online, but will appear in Aldi stores from 3 June. Like so many of Aldi’s Specialbuys, we predict this clever bedding to be a sellout.
