Aldi’s new coffee scrub dupe is half the price of the original

Coffee body scrubs are big business in the beauty world right now. The exfoliating treatments claim to promote blood flow to improve the appearance of cellulite, banish dry patches and leave skin feeling smooth, soft and hydrated, so it’s unsurprising that they’re flying off the shelves.

One of the bestselling coffee scrubs, Frank, receives rave reviews across the board, with thousands of fans praising its nourishing blend of coffee, oils and vitamins. A 200g pouch of their Original Coffee Scrub costs £12.95 – but now bargain supermarket Aldi is taking on the range with a budget-friendly version that’s half the price.

Aldi’s Lacura Coffee Body Scrubs are available in three (almost) good-enough-to-eat scent options – coconut, chocolate and orange – all with a grainy, exfoliating base of coffee and cane sugar. The scrubs are vegan friendly, cruelty free, and packed with natural ingredients including vitamin E, cocoa butter and sweet almond oil to refresh and revitalise your skin.

While the formula isn’t exactly the same as Frank’s signature blend, fans of the collection could find themselves enjoying the Aldi version just as much – and for just £6.99 (a 50 per cent saving) for the same quantity, they can afford to really pile on the grounds.
