Just when you think Aldi can’t give us any more goodness (those beauty dupes just keep on coming), they go and bring back the sellout cast iron kitchen range that flies off the shelves every time it comes back into stock.
Customers say Aldi’s cast iron cookware gives ultra-luxe kitchenware brand Le Creuset a serious run for its money, not least because it offers an extremely similar range of colours and shapes as the high-end brand for a fraction of the cost. And seeing as we’re all now cooking up a storm at home more since the lockdowns, we could all probably do with some brand new pots and pans to flex our newfound cooking skills in style.
So it’s good timing for the supermarket to bring back its Le Creuset-style cookware range with a brand new colourway of teal. The limited edition on-trend hue can be found across a range of cookware items, including the 20cm, 26cm and 30cm cast iron casserole dishes.
With the smallest of those three costing £19.99 and the latter two priced at £29.99, that’s an incredible saving compared to Le Creuset’s similar styles which costs from £200-£330.
Considering how quickly Aldi cast iron pots and pans have sold before, we predict these teal-hued ones will be especially popular, particularly because they match a very similar hue sold by Le Creuset. All will be exclusively available online, but for now there’s a ‘coming soon’ badge on each product page, so you’ll have to keep checking back to see when your favourite becomes available to buy.
If the teal doesn’t totally take your fancy, Aldi has also brought back the ever-popular matte black and grey ombre colourways, if you prefer a more pared-back, minimalist look when it comes to your cookware.
However, you know the drill when it comes to an Aldi SpecialBuy – they’re a limited run, and once they’re gone, they’re gone, so place your order as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
