The 10-Hour Diet: Waldorf salad and smoked mackerel recipe

SERVES 2

INGREDIENTS:
1 apple, cored and cut into small cubes
2 tbsp walnut pieces
2 sticks of celery, topped and tailed, cut into pieces about 1cm thick
2 tbsp plain live yogurt
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp horseradish sauce
A sprinkling of sea salt
Pinch of ground pepper
2 fillets of smoked mackerel (find them in the fridge section of supermarkets)

  1. Combine the apple, walnuts and celery in a bowl.
  2. In a cup, mix the yogurt, mayonnaise, horseradish sauce, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the yogurt mix on top of the apple mix and stir through.
  4. Scatter a few pieces of smoked mackerel on top and enjoy.
